SimplicityCoy provides user the ability to customize the pricelist for your products for both Sales and Purchases.
By default, the system will have 2 default pricelists:
- Public Pricelist is created based on the products' Sale Price. All customers by default will follow the pricing as defined in this list during the sales of products.
Default Purchase Pricelist is created based on the products' Cost Price. All supplier by default will follow the pricing as defined in this list during the purchase of products.
You can set the default pricelist to use from the Customer/Supplier View -> Sales & Purchases Tab.
Pricelist may consist of a list of versions which depends on their active period. This way, the user can defined different pricing based on different start and end dates.
To understand and define a pricelist, you need to understand there are 3 levels of informations required:
- Pricelist Version
- Pricelist Item
Pricelist is the main pricelist that appear in all forms when defining the pricelist to use during Sales or Purchase.
In the Pricelist, there is 1 or more pricelist versions. The pricelist version define the actual pricing to follow based on the period defined.
Based on the Pricelist, you can have a history of pricelist version which define the price changes over time.
In each Pricelist Version, you will define each Pricelist Item. Pricelist Item is the actual rules or formulas to use to define the final selling or buying price of the Pricelist. Pricelist Item can be defined in general or per product.
